Human Trafficking

Deeply ingrained in the collective psyche of Western culture is the notion that slavery ended in the nineteenth century. In our own day, however, a thriving underground market in human beings has emerged once again. 27 million people are in some form of slavery today, more than were bartered and bought during a 400-year period of North Atlantic slavery in the past. Modern-day slavery respects no borders. Therefore, it will take a concerted movement to end it once again. You may not have known this before, but now you do. You can learn more and be part of the movement!

The Human Trafficking project is initiated by Women Ministries and is a partnership of all of the Covenant in an effort to develop awareness of and put a stop to human trafficking.
